SA win world 4 x 100m relay title

South Africa’s 4x100m relay team won the World Relay meeting in Poland this weekend to be crowned World Champions in this event.

Akani Simbine, the Commonwealth champion, finished in 38.71 – a hundredth of second ahead of Brazil’s  Paulo Camilo de Oliveira in the final – to ensure the world title.
