Lions reshuffle backline as Bok wing heads back to SA

The Lions backline for their match against the Chiefs in Hamilton on Friday has been reshuffled with their Springbok wing Courtnall Skosan on his way back to South Africa to be with his gravely ill father.

Tyrone Green will fly to New Zealand on Wednesday but will not be part of Friday’s matchday  23.

Coach Swys Bruin has made the following changes to the team: Sylvian Mahuza will shift from fullback to the right wing, with Springbok Andries Coetzee coming off the bench to start at fullback; Ruan Combrinck will now be in Viljoen’s place on the bench.

The Lions play their last tour match next Friday when they face Crusaders in Christchurch.
