Last week the Lions sprang a surprise when they fielded Elton Jantjies and Malcolm Marx, who were not on the team list, to confuse the home side Chiefs.
On Friday (kick-off 09:35) they will run on with Jantjies again at inside centre.
But there will be no Malcolm Marx (photo GB Jordaan). The Springbok hooker, who is playing outstanding rugby (as always) is back in South Africa and being rested as part of Springbok protocol.
The Lions side to play Crusaders in Christchurch on Friday (9:35 SA time) shows four changes to the one that beat the Chiefs last weekend.
Robbie Coetzee, Nic Groom, Shaun Reynolds and Ruan Combrinck all get the nod for the Lions’ last fixture on tour. Robbie Coetzee will start at hooker with Jan-Henning Campher on the bench.
Shaun Reynolds will start at ten after Gianni Lombard returned home because of injury. Combrinck gets a start at fullback and at nine Groom rotates with Ross Cronje.
