Pumas bolster lineouts but overlook changes to struggling scrum

Experienced hard man Agustin Creevy returns at hooker for the Pumas after missing their last losing match against the Wallabies ten days ago due to a shoulder injury sustained against the All Blacks the week before.

The Pumas head coach Mario Ledesma has obviously tried to bolster his lineouts with the inclusion Matias Alemanno and Marcos Kremer ahead of regular locks Guido Petti and Tomas Lavanini.

The “new” locks have 70 caps between them but have the challenge of improving on the lineout display by the first-choice pair of Guido Petti and Tomas Lavanini and equal them in the loose. Pettie is on the bench.

In another change to the pack Javier Ortega Desio takes over from Tomas Lezana on the openside flank.

There’s only one change to the backline in the backs, with Emiliano Boffelli returning as fullback.

The Pumas seemingly have no other props besides the present duo to bolster their very shaky scrum.
