Sharks mix their recruits with four World Cup Boks for Bulls challenge

Six Springboks in their starting backline, three more in the pack plus one on the replacement bench make this an exciting and also hungry Sharks team to face the Bulls in Durban on Friday night, kick-off 19:10.

Springboks Sikumbuzo Notshe and Ox Nche will make their Super Rugby debuts for the Sharks with former Lions flank James Venter the other debutant in the run-on side.

The other Springboks include World Cup winners Makazole Mapimpi and S’bu Nkosi on the wing, centre Lukhanyo Am and prop Thomas du Toit.

Big centre André Esterhuizen, vice-captain Curwin Bosch and his halfback partner, scrumhalf Louis Schreuder, are the other Springboks. And there is of course a tenth, replacement hooker Craig Burden, who is an official Bok although he never played in the green jersey.

Other new recruits, Le Roux Roets and Henco Venter and local youngsters Sanele Nohamba (scrumhalf) and Boeta Chamberlain (flyhalf) will play off the bench.
