Ross Cronje will lead a very talented young Lions side in their first Currie Cup match at home against the Pumas on Saturday.

The Golden Lions team is interspersed with experienced names like Marnus Schoeman, Johannes Jonker and Dylan Smith while players like Tyrone Green, Wandisile Simelane, Shaun Reynolds, Vincent Tshituka, Reinhard Nothnagel and Rhyno Herbst have all had a taste of Super Rugby.

The match kicks off at 15:00.

The rugby day will kick off with the Golden Lions Under 21 side playing the Leopards at 12:00.
